Human rights are alienable fundamental rights to which a person is inherently entitled simply because he/she is a human being. The fight for human rights has come a long way. The universal declaration on human rights (UDHR) was the first effort to ensure that human rights was universally accepted. Although the UDHR is not legally binding, it has been recognized by many countries around the world including Kenya.
On the other hand, Good Governance assures that corruption is minimized, the views of minorities are taken into account and that the voices of the most vulnerable in society are heard in decision-making.
